All of the PULSE of Patient Safety programs are developed in collaboration with community members who use the health care system, various medical professionals, mental health professionals and community health educators. Programs can be developed specifically for your needs and interests or, if you are not sure what you need, give us a call and maybe we can steer you in the right direction.5>
Caring in a Crisis:
Half day workshop educating patients and families about their role in working with the healthcare system to improve outcomes. Develops an understanding and respect between patient and providers.5>

Chat Room:
Patients and families are encouraged to participate in live, moderated chat rooms to help with support following an injury or death associated with medical treatment. Other scheduled chat rooms are for advocacy support to help those around the world dedicated to improving patient safety network about ideas and solutions.

Poster Presentation:
Working with community members to design posters about the patient’s role in patient safety. Posters can be displayed in hospital lobbies. (samples available on this website)
Local businesses can purchase posters from patient safety organizations and “adopt a hallway” to display appropriate posters.
