Patient Safety Day, July 25th 2008

To honor those who have lost their battle due to medical injury and those who live with the pain and reminders daily.

Remembering helps; We should not forget. Join a candlelight vigil, share your story and make new friends.

There is something we can do! Education and awareness about becoming part of the medical team is what national and international patient safety leaders encourage. We, the patients can act as patient safety partners and reduce medical errors through education and awareness.

Participation can:
Reduce Falls,
Reduce Infections,
Improve Health Literacy and Communication,
Reduce Medication Errors,
Reduce Surgery Errors,
Education and awareness is the only way to stamp out medical errors. The time has come that patients must become educated consumers.

If you are sponsoring an event, hosting an event or would like to participate in an event for Patient Safety Day, July 25th 2008, please e-mail pulse516@aol.com.
